Remember your first day of school after your summer vacation? Didn't your teacher always make the class write an essay on "What I Did on My Vacation"?
This is our 3nd year of doing a grown-up version of this time-honored (and usually hated) school-dats tradition, with a few changes from last year's competition. We've put a beaded spin on it, combining the memories of the summer's fun with a fund raising effort. We sponsored team "Walking On" in their effort to raise funds for participation in this year's Breast Cancer 3-Day walk over Veteran's Day weekend.
As we've come to expect, the entries this year were FANTASTIC! I am VERY glad I didn't have to judge them!

Every participant had fantastic entries and if it had been up to me, they all would have won First Prize.
